Who is Miranda Lynn?

First things first- let’s get acquainted. I’m Miranda Lynn, your new go-to for capturing life’s most precious moments. Your core memories, if you will. I’m based in Dallas, Texas but often found in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area.

My style? Think documentary but make it chic. I’m not about those staged, stiff poses that make everyone uncomfortable. Nah, I’m all about capturing you in your element. Around here, unique stories are told. Leave your pre-planned shot list at the door, and be open to showing me your most authentic selves. We are documenting your life and its truest moments. These photographs will portray who you are at your core, and the connection you feel with your loved ones. You can’t replicate that from a pinterest board.

I specialize in non-traditional (micro) weddings, elopements, and candid family moments that are as unique as you are. With intentional storytelling at my core, I grow with you to document all stages of life. From the moment you say “I do,” to the sleepless nights with a newborn, to the epic family vacations- I capture it all to convey your truth.

Authenticity. Let's face it; you can spot a fake a mile away. That's why I’m committed to keeping it 100 with you. Your love story, your family, your quirks—they're all uniquely yours, and I aim to capture that in every image we create together.

Storytelling. Sure, a picture is worth a thousand words, but the right picture can tell an entire story. Your wedding day, your family gatherings, your day-to-day life at home—they're filled with narratives that deserve to be told. And I’m the Dallas wedding photographer to do just that.

Empathy. Weddings and family photoshoots can be stressful, I get it. That's why I approach every session with a ton of empathy. I understand the highs and lows that come with these significant life events, and I’m here to make the process and experience as smooth as possible.

Non Traditional. Whether it’s trekking through the woods for that perfect elopement shot, or getting married at city hall, I’m all about doing something unique and against the norm. Innovation fuels me, I get bored easily, so I’m always up for whatever crazy idea you have in mind.

FAQs 

Q: How far in advance should we book?

A: The sooner, the better, especially if you're tying the knot during busy season. My books fill up on a first-come-first-serve basis, so to avoid any disapointment, reach out as soon as you are able to!

Q: What's your turnaround time?

A: You can expect your gallery within 4-6 weeks. For family/engagement sessions, turnaround time is within 2-3 weeks.

Q: Do you travel for shoots?

A: Absolutely! I'm Dallas-based but world-curious. I spend a lot of time in San Francisco & NYC, so my travel fees are waived for these two cities.
