Family photos don't need to be stiff and boring. They should reflect your real life! As a family photographer in Dallas, I can tell you that at home family photos is the best way to achieve that. 


The Butler's love spending time in their own backyard. We documented their life during this season- tending to chickens, bouncing on the trampoline, and (my fav) roasting s'mores around the fire pit. Family photos can be this easy!  


Some families come to me explaining that they don't love the interior of their home. That's okay! We can always shoot in the backyard, or front yard, or on your neighborhood street. As long as the location has some sentiment to your family. Why don't I like photographing families in a random field? One, it's over-done. Your family story is so unique, and you deserve photos that reflect that. Two, it's uncomfy and unfamiliar! Especially if your family consists of little ones, we want them to be comfortable in their space. That will ensure photos that represent their true personalities. Which is what I'm all about!
